I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.

That is a quote by Gandhi. He didnt affiliate himself with a religion (correct me if im wrong) and yet he sees a flaw, a major flaw, with the Christians today. We as so-called Christians arent acting like He did. We are prideful, selfish, lustful, ignorant, despicable, murderous. The list can go on for eternity.

I, myself, am just like the rest of society. I get sucked into the secular world with music and social networking sites. I get prideful and seek recognition with every “good” deed I do. I lust every day. I am ignorant and very selfish. It’s all about me, me, and me. I’m not serving others like He did. I am not setting an example like He did. I am nothing like Him.

I am telling you right now, it’s up to us to change the world. It’s our purpose to spread His love. We are the generation that will change the world. We are going to be persecuted for our beliefs, there is no doubt about it. Being a Christian is not an easy thing. It’s going to be difficult, but whether you live life for His glory and his alone is going to be the difference in proving what Gandhi said wrong. Let’s be the generation that truly seeks His face through repentance, through humility, through love, through rebuking, through His strength.

It’s time to step our game up.
